Parcel Products Shipping and Returns
This item will be shipped either USPS Ground Advantage, UPS Ground or FedEx Home Delivery. During check out you will see the different costs of the 3 parcel delivery services and you can choose the carrier that is most economical for you. The rates are determined by the size and weight of the package and the delivery location. If you are planning to pick up your completed order at the workshop, choose the "Pickup" option at checkout.
Returns are not allowed unless your order has been damaged in shipment. If you receive a damaged shipment, promptly e-mail a photo of the damage to brian@ruralmodernfurniture.com and include a written description of the damage. Please save the packaging material because we may ask you to send the piece back, at our expense, so we can either repair the damage or build a new replacement for you. A new replacement will take approximately 4 weeks since another piece will likely not be in inventory and will have to be built to order. You will not be charged for return shipping.
White Glove Products Shipping and Returns
This item will be shipped "white glove" which means that your order will be blanket wrapped for protection and trucked to your home in either the company van or in our vendor's specially designed trucks used exclusively for furniture deliveries. The furniture will be carried into your home and placed where you direct and the packing material will be removed. Please contact the workshop when you place a "white glove" order. The rate that's quoted assumes a typical delivery. For atypical deliveries such as - you live on an island - the delivery truck can't easily reach your house - you need the furniture placed above the 2nd floor - we will need to make an adjustment to the quote to account for any additional work. If you are planning to pick up your completed order at the workshop, choose the "Pickup" option at checkout.
Returns are not allowed unless your furniture is damaged in transit and we aren't able to address the repairs on site. You will be asked to sign for the furniture after the delivery so be sure to carefully examine your order before completing a formal acceptance. Requests for repairs or returns will not be honored if you've signed your receipt confirming your furniture arrived undamaged. Contact the shop ASAP if your order arrives damaged so that we may determine the best course of action to address the problem.
